maryMary E. Henschel, CESP

Marketing Coordinator/Employment Consultant

Mary has over 15 years of successful sales and marketing experience. She has worked at local and regional media outlets, as well as with young adults in an “out of the box” field marketing business. Throughout her career, she has established lasting relationships with many corporate and media decision makers. Mary feels that the field of Job Development with CEO is a natural fit for her, and establishing potential careers for individuals with disabilities is truly rewarding.

Employment Consultant

Stephen graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a B.A. in Political Science and has a Masters of Public Administration, M.P.A from UW-Milwaukee. He has a variety of experience as a Community Organizer and has done government work at the City of Whitewater, the Department of Health Services, and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. His experience assisting others in need and hearing their stories have inspired him to continue work in the public sector. He joins the staff as an Employment Consultant with a primary focus on Job Development opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

dwightDwight Johnson, CESP

Employment Consultant

A native Milwaukeean, Dwight worked for Milwaukee Public Schools as an educational assistant for 30 years where he worked with students with disabilities and at-risk students. Dwight has been an Employment Consultant with CEO since 2005. He has been trained as a trainer for Systematic Instruction by Michael Callahan (Mark Gold and Associates).  His passion is working with individuals with high support needs, helping them become more independent on the jobs. He is a huge Packers fan, enjoys golfing in the summer, and dabbling in the stock market.

 

045Amanda Kohnke

Employment Consultant 

Amanda graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a B.S. in Special Education and is currently attending Cardinal Stritch University for a Masters in Sports Management. She was previously a special education teacher for a low incident program and really enjoys working with students in transition. Amanda has coached Special Olympics for eight years and taught adaptive physical education to children and adults through the Milwaukee Recreation Department. She has also volunteered at camps with children and young adults with disabilities. Amanda is extremely passionate about helping others succeed to the best of their ability and enjoys finding what will help individuals reach that point.

Employment Consultant

Karen has worked for Creative Employment Opportunities, Inc. since it was founded in 1991. Karen’s primary responsibilities focus on ensuring employees with disabilities maintain their employment. Karen takes pride in developing individualized instructional strategies and adaptations that promote greater independence in the workplace. She also works with co-workers and supervisor to ensure the employee is fully included on the job. Karen enjoys spending free time with family, bowling, and traveling.

Sarah Mast

Administrative Assistant

Sarah graduated from Indiana State University with a B.S. in Public and Applied History.  She moved to Milwaukee to complete a Museum Studies Certification while working as a Teaching Assistant in History at UWM and the Milwaukee Public Museum.  She has since worked in early childhood development, ran a small business, and was an office assistant to a gymnastics academy.  She is an active volunteer, sports fan and parent when not at the office.  Sarah brings a variety of organizational skills and public work field experience to Creative Employment Opportunities.

erinErin Meyer

Employment Consultant

Erin Meyer has joined CEO focusing on ensuring employees with disabilities maintain their employment. She takes pride in developing individualized instructional strategies and adaptations that promote greater independence in the workplace. Erin is currently pursuing a degree in Exceptional Education. Her goal is to become a transition teacher. Spending time with her clients on the job gives her an excellent perspective of the current job market and how to integrate new workers with special needs into the workplace. Erin is a key staff member in our programs offering skill building and teaching self-advocacy to clients who are just beginning their journey to employment. When she is not working or going to school , Erin loves spending time with her two year old son.

HaleyHaley Moeller

Employment Consultant

Haley graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a B.S. in Human Service Leadership. Her main roles as an Employment Consultant are job coaching and life skills/pre-employment training. Formally an Adaptive Physical Education Major, Haley has developed the skills and tools that provide the foundation for her job coaching techniques. She is extremely passionate about helping individuals exceed their own expectations. In her free time, Haley enjoys running, camping, traveling, and all outdoor activities.

edeard Edward Sheehy, CESP

Employment Consultant

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Edward brings a wide variety of experience to his position at CEO. These have included purchasing, inventory control, logistics and, most notably, over 20 years of retail ownership and management. He was the founder and proprietor of The Port, an award-winning fish market on Milwaukee’s South Side. As such, he feels a particular affinity for the small-business entrepreneur, and the importance of the “customer first” business model in the hiring and training of employees. He brings that same practical, hands-on experience to his roles as Job Developer and Job Coach.

An accomplished singer and songwriter, Edward is also a long-time Special Olympics coach, where he has learned that hard work and desire to succeed are far more significant than one’s limitations.
