Employment Consultant/Team Lead
Mary has been an employment consultant with CEO for over 10 years. She enjoys wearing many hats including job development, supporting
clients on the job, participating in advocacy groups and assisting her teammates to provide successful outcomes for their clients. Mary
comes from a sales and marketing background and has managed teams for an “out of the box” beverage marketing firm. Prior to that she sold
advertising for over 20 years. Mary states “Working with CEO has been, by far, my most rewarding position yet.”
Karen has worked for Creative Employment Opportunities, Inc. since it was founded in 1991. Karen’s primary responsibilities focus on ensuring employees with disabilities maintain their employment. Karen takes pride in developing individualized instructional strategies and adaptations that promote greater independence in the workplace. She also works with co-workers and supervisor to ensure the employee is fully included on the job. Karen enjoys spending free time with family, bowling, and traveling.
A native Milwaukeean, Dwight worked for Milwaukee Public Schools as an educational assistant for 30 years where he worked with students with disabilities and at-risk students. Dwight has been an Employment Consultant with CEO since 2005. He has been trained as a trainer for Systematic Instruction by Michael Callahan (Mark Gold and Associates). His passion is working with individuals with high support needs, helping them become more independent on the jobs. He is a huge Packers fan, enjoys golfing in the summer, and dabbling in the stock market.
Jennifer worked as a special education teacher, volleyball coach, ballroom dance instructor, and Gay-Straight Alliance advisor in Milwaukee Public Schools for over a decade. She holds both a Master of Special Education Degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Jennifer firmly believes that all people have the right and the ability to contribute to their community in a meaningful way and should be provided the supports they need to do so. Her progression from working with students on their goals in school to working with clients on their goals in the workplace has been a natural and exciting career move.
Ron has worked as a special education teacher, an adjunct professor for Viterbo University, an executive director for a non-profit, and as an accountant. He has both a Master of Arts degree in Teaching and a Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting. Ron is committed to finding the strengths in each of our clients and working closely with all members of our community to help clients find opportunities that are fulfilling and meaningful.
Nolan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2011 with a degree in Secondary English Education. Following graduation, he worked in Milwaukee Public Schools for several years as an English teacher at Riverside University High School. In that time, Nolan taught students from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of abilities. Since joining Creative Employment Opportunities in 2018, Nolan has been working to help others to realize their potential through meaningful inclusion in the community. When he’s not at work, Nolan enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his dog, Archer.
